The Commercial Equipment Direct Assistance Program (CEDAP) is organized under the Department of Homeland Security and was "established to assist smaller communities in acquiring and using commercially available technologies to prevent, deter, and respond to terrorist attacks as identified in state homeland security strategies".
CEDAP directly provides eligible law enforcement agencies with technologies such as Wolf Pack. Since it is a direct assistance program, there is no requirement for matching funds from the recipient. Agencies selected through the CEDAP process receive their requested equipment at CEDAP organized and funded technical training events. The CEDAP application period opens for 30 days at a time, during which interested agencies complete a streamlined on-line request. Should your agency be interested in applying to CEDAP for a Wolf Pack CT/AT kit, we encourage you to complete our online Follow-up Request. With your contact information on file, we can provide notification of the next CEDAP application period.
